Description
Silver was a huge rocking horse made from wood which lived in the attic when I was a child, nobody knew where I came from, and from a tiny child I always felt somewhat native american,I had no idea how this came to be,I would ride Silver
my horse, and go as fast and as high as I could(which was quite fast!)My horse and I all alone shared many dreams in the attic, for my parents would quarrel and I felt safe alone with our adventures upstairs, one day I found my dad had sold Silver, and my heart perhaps for the first time broke a little...I do believe Silver is watching me,and I do think of him often,he wasnt just a rocking horse...

I love this, very touching....I too had a horse, my parents would find that I would rock myself to sleep and they would then put me to bed. I also loved and dreamed on that horse and I don't know who my parents gave her to...Thanks for this paitning and the memory, EXtra FAV and vote!!!

Special painting, special horse, special memory....and I can feel it. This is wonderful. I also love the description. If this makes even one father think about the feelings of his child, that would be fantastic. v/f
